Pressed Flower Shop is the floral preservation studio of artist Caitlin Torrez. Based in the Twin Cities, Minnesota, Caitlin presses and arranges bridal bouquets into timeless keepsake artwork.
Caitlin decided it was finally time for a brand and website that communicated the artistic, romantic, and sophisticated qualities of her pressed flower services, and we at Caitlin Hottinger Design were delighted to partner with her to bring her vision to life.
The artist behind Pressed Flower Shop uses antique books to press her flowers, and has always been artistically inspired by the beauty and intricacy of vintage leather-bound volumes. The logo suite we created for Pressed Flower Shop pays homage to this love for ornate antique books, and the detailed process of pressing and preserving flowers into a framed piece of artwork. Beyond the illustrative motifs, the type treatments we designed for Caitlin's logo and brand are romantic, classic, and elegant — the perfect visual solution for her refined, romantic art.
